TERMS & CONDITIONS 100% football is an online competition comprising the weekly prediction of football results, a trivia bonus question, 'spot the ball' game and other auxiliary games. Definitions: 100% football is the game operated for Mortgage Express A Manager is one person responsible for submitting the results for his/her team A Team is the name under which a Manager (or group of people headed by a Manager) plays A Coach is the Business Development Manager responsible for that league A Chairman is the person setting up the Mini-League and therefore in control of all invitations and members A Division is typically 20 teams competing against each other A League is a number of divisions, grouped by Business Development Manager area postcodes The Referee, Melvin, is the manager and authority of 100% football Your Team Name cannot be changed once you have registered. The Referee's decision is final. No purchase is necessary to enter. Entry is free of charge and must be made via '100% Football' link through the Mortgage Express website www.mortgage-express.co.uk. After registering, you must play for at least one month in order to be entered into the Registration Prize Draw, the winners of which will be announced w/c 15th September. 1st prize will be 2 tickets for a World Cup Qualifier at Wembley and an overnight stay in a London hotel. 2nd prize will be 2 tickets to a Premier League match. 3rd prize will be an old style leather football. There will be no cash equivalent. 100% football is open to Mortgage Express and their industry partners (eg intermediaries, networks, packagers, IFAs, trade journalists). Managers who do not meet this requirement will not be permitted to receive prizes and may be asked not to play the game. Employees of Bradford & Bingley Group are able to play but are not eligible for any prizes. Football fixtures and bonus questions will be e-mailed to each team manager every Wednesday. Managers will have until 11pm on the following Friday to submit their predictions and answer the bonus question. All submissions are final and are the sole responsibility of the registered Team Manager or any designated deputy. Results will be e-mailed on Mondays. Teams are divided into Leagues named after the BDM that looks after the post-code area the Manager works in. Due to occasional changes of BDMs or BDM's postcode responsibilities, you might be moved into a different league and therefore your position in the league might change. These shifts and changes within leagues will be at the Referee's discretion and will be actioned without prior notice. Late starters (ie after the season has begun) will be able to join at any time. When they start, they may be given a starting bonus at the discretion of The Referee. The fixtures list will typically be compiled from weekend (Saturday and Sunday) football games in the Premiership & Football Leagues - typically seven from the Premiership, and one each from Divisions One, Two and Three (however this is at the referees decision and may change at anytime). For matches that are postponed, suspended or not played on the Saturday or Sunday for any reason, the Referee will allocate a number of points (0-4). This may or may not follow Pools Panel decisions and is completely at the referees' discretion. Teams will score: 4 points for a correctly predicted no score draw 3 points for a correctly predicted score draw 2 points for a correctly predicted away win 1 point for a correctly predicted home win plus 5 points for a correct answer to the Bonus Question. Any Manager suspected of not submitting predictions properly (e.g. using the same predictions for all ten fixtures in any one week) will not be entitled to any prizes or special promotions, this is completely at the referees discretion. The Referee has the right to deduct points and/or disqualify any Manager engaging in such activity. Bonus questions will be set by the Referee, the Referee's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Managers who do not submit predictions for four consecutive weeks will receive a yellow card, which will be displayed on their division table. Managers who do not submit predictions for six consecutive weeks will receive a red card, and will be relegated to the 'on the bench' league. However, they can rejoin their previous league and division if they resume playing actively. The Ref will award a "Manager of the Month" prize to the manager who has scored the most points each month in each league. Managers cannot win this prize twice in succession - if this happens, The Ref will exercise his right to award the prize to a manager of his choice. At the end of the season, the grand prize will be awarded to the Manager with the most points and is therefore the winner of all the Main Leagues. There will be a separate prize for the winner of the MX league. The referee will announce what the grand prize is on 18th February 2009. When to play your Jokers. You will be able to play a Joker twice within the season in order to double your score for that week. Your Jokers are very easy to use. Simply click on the Joker option when logging on to enter your predictions. Melvin's brain will do the rest. Mortgage Express reserves the right to alter, adapt and adjust 100% football over the season to accommodate initiatives, special promotions and activities. We will notify Managers by e-mail in advance of any changes.
